Over the past ten years, I often
considered working out with a personal trainer. I
hoped that a personal trainer’s expertise could help
me to work out properly and effectively. I knew that
an appointment with a personal trainer would actually
get me to the gym. Over the past ten years, I always
found a reason not to hire a personal trainer. I was
too busy, the expense would be an extravagance, and I
could work out on my own. Over the past ten years, I
worked out sporadically, and not very effectively.
Over the past ten years- no surprise – I got ten years
older, softer, heavier, and weaker.
This past summer I began working
out with you. I told you my top goal was to
strengthen my core. We have strengthened my core.
But we’ve done much more. I’m stronger than I’ve ever
been. My extra pounds are moving to more acceptable
places. My endurance, balance and posture are
improved. Workouts are fun – even when painful – and
leave me feeling good all day. In fact, I feel better
generally, which translate to increased confidence and
effectiveness.
You bring a wonderful set of
skills to your work. You are knowledgeable about the
human body and physiology, about exercise and
exercises. You are sensitive to my challenges and
goals, you are a fantastic motivator, and you are fun
to work with.
I have enthusiastically
